Modeselektor’s Monkeytown Records have compiled Elan’s three previously released eps, including the massive reworks from Anstam, Byteone, Modeselektor, Cosmin TRG and Lazer Sword and added a bunch of previously unreleased remixes by the likes of Nasty Nasty, DJ Pound and Mike Gao (to name a few). The whole package sports twenty-six tracks of feverish post-Dilla style beat trickery and synth-heavy instrumental hip hop excursions. The perfect introduction to Elan’s sound.
