Since its inception three years ago, Mild Pitch, the label operated by Manuel Tur, Dplay and Langenberg has become one of the firm favourites of house music lovers worldwide, elegantly mixing dusty chords driven by deep house with a heavy dose of dub FX and the occasional big-room-sensibility. „Fingerprints 01“ is their first label compilation, showcasing new tracks by Manuel Tur, Blakkat, Langenberg, Dplay, David Bovenkerk, Kai von Glasow and Ribn, who start the compilation with the driving „Some People“. Dplay’s „Klick Klack“ aims for a more tracky and hypnotic dub-vibe as does David Bovenkerk. Langenberg adds wallowing melodies to the mix, while Kai von Glasow’s „Spitting It Out“ is the trancy peaktime weapon of the compilation. Manuel Tur takes it deeper again with a beautiful groover full of filtered pianos and haunting pads. The closing track comes from Blakkat, who departs on a bleepy and heavily-filtered journey into more playful territory.
