Com TruiseIn Decay

You ever wondered what it might sound like if Jan Hammer and Tangerine Dream would record a score for a 70s sci-fi flick after listening to a stack of boogie and italo disco records? Well, say hello to Com Truise.

„Melting circuits since 1985“ is the slogan of New Jersey-based producer Seth Haley aka Com Truise and „In Decay“ his sophomore album catapults you back to the early stages of his synth wrangling experiments. Consisting of previously unreleased tracks and early demos, „In Decay“ is a ultra-vivid journey into a world of swaggering cosmic analogue synth tweaks, 80s nostalgia and low-slung drum machine rhythms with that extra bit of swing. As if Jan Hammer and Tangerine Dream recorded a score for a 70s sci-fi flick after listening to a stack of boogie and italo disco records. Com Truise’s keen sense for  melody and rubbery basslines which made his debut album „Galactic Melt“ so seductive is at full play here as well. Most of the tracks on „In Decay“ might be from the vaults, but they are no less accomplished than anything on „Galactic Melt.“ Keep melting Com!
