King Push – Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude Pusha T

With "King Push – Darkest Before Dawn", Pusha T delivers a powerful prelude to the release of his next work in 2016.

The rap year 2015 finishes with a mighty bang – thanks to Pusha T. Despite being in the business with his brother Gene "Malice" Thornton since the late 90s, "King Push – Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude" is only his second solo album. The rapper from Virginia Beach properly lets rip here with a star-studded credit list including Sean "Puffy" Combs, Timbaland, Hudson Mohawke, A$ap Rocky, Kanye West, Q-Tip.. and the list goes on (King Push clearly leaves nothing to chance). Together, they get the best out of each other resulting in punchy, unexpected beats and lines such as "Yeeugh, I drops every blue moon, to separate myself from you kings of YouTube". "Rappers is victimized at an all-time high, but not I" is from the track "Crutches, Crosses, Caskets" which finds Pusha T once more firing on all cylinders. The King has spoken.
